Katia Silky Mohair is a soft, delicate bouclé yarn made from high-quality Superkid mohair with a silk and viscose core. Use it by itself to create garments and accessories which are fluffy, light as air and appear to glow when they catch the light… Or knit it held together with your favourite smooth yarn for extra-warm pieces with a gorgeous halo of soft fuzziness.

Katia Silky Mohair is also plastic-free! This blend of mohair, extrafine merino wool, silk and viscose is perfect if you’re trying to avoid petroleum-based materials, or simply seeking the comfort and breathability of natural fibres.

• Recommended needle size: 3.5-4.5mm (US 5-7)
• Composition: 58% mohair, 20% extrafine merino wool, 11% silk, 11% viscose
• 25g (0.88oz) = 200m (219yd)
• Estimated gauge: 25 stitches + 34 rows of stockinette stitch on a 3.5mm needle gives a 10cm x 10cm square
• Hand wash only, do not bleach or tumble dry.
