Knitting for Newbies April 2026

Let’s start at the very beginning.

This 3-week course will take you from knitting novice to proud owner of a pair of cosy fingerless mitts! Along the way we’ll cover essential knitting skills, including:

• The knit stitch
• How to start and finish your project (casting on and casting off)
• Sewing your completed mitts together.

Your classes will take place in my beautiful studio space in central Dublin on three consecutive Wednesday evenings, starting on the 15th of April 2026. Each session will start at 6pm and last 2 hours. I keep the group small (max. 4 students) to ensure you’ll get plenty of help, too!

All materials are provided.

PS Already done some knitting before? I think you’ll find this course too easy! My regular group classes might better suited to your level.

Course Terms & Conditions

• Payment for this course is collected at time of booking.
• The course fee covers all the materials and tools you’ll need to complete the project, and everything is yours to keep at the end of the course.
• The class fee is refundable up to 24 hours before the scheduled start date of your course.
• The class timetable is as described above. No alternative scheduling or partial refund will be offered in the case of one or more missed session(s).
• Sorry, but my classes aren’t for children! These courses are open to adults only.
• My studio is located on the first floor of an old building without a lift, and is therefore unfortunately not accessible to wheelchair users or those with limited mobility. Please consider this when making your booking.
• The studio building is home to a beautiful and charming cat, who lives there full-time. If you have allergies or just aren’t a cat person, please let me know so I can accommodate you.
