It’s Fibre Festival Time!

Can you feel it? The leaves are turning, there’s a slight chill in the air… And that means it’s KNITTING SEASON!

My knitting classes are already getting busier as students hurry to have their winter sweaters ready, or try to get to grips with wielding a set of knitting needles for the first time. But the arrival of Autumn has come to signal something else these past couple of years, too! It’s almost time for…

The Dublin Fibre Festival!

The first Dublin Fibre Festival took place last October, and it’s amazing how it already feels like a fixture in the knitting calendar. This year’s edition sees us in a new, larger venue (the Irish Museum of Modern Art in Kilmainham) and I can’t wait to set up my stall in this beautiful building!

The event will be taking place on the 18th of October – a little earlier than last year – and if you haven’t picked up your tickets yet, you can do that here:

There will be over 40 vendors at the Festival this year, and craft workshops running throughout the day. For more info on who will be there, or to book a place in one of the workshops, be sure to check out the Dublin Fibre Festival website!

*Terms & Conditions of Dublin Fibre Festival 2025 pre-orders:

• You will need to access the Festival to collect your order, so this offer is open to ticketholders only.
• Pre-orders must be received by 12 noon on the 17th of October. After this point, the coupon code will be deactivated and any orders will be processed and posted as normal.
• If you are unable to collect your pre-order on the day, I will post it out to you on the next working day after the Festival upon receipt of €6 postage. Postage is available to addresses in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland only.
• Certain products (Katia United Socks, Katia Easy Knit Cotton and Adriafil Dama) will be on price promotion at the Festival and are therefore not covered by the pre-order code.
